Facial wrinkles

Collagen support

The technology
A gradual conversation with your collagen.
Sculptra contains injectable poly-L-lactic acid, known as PLLA-SCA. Once placed by a trained provider, it helps stimulate the skin’s natural collagen response over time.
The water used to prepare Sculptra creates an immediate post-treatment fullness that typically subsides. The intended improvement develops gradually, so the treatment plan is evaluated across a series rather than judged on the first few days.
Treatment settings and candidacy are individualized after consultation.

Frequently asked
Good to know.
Is Sculptra a traditional filler?
Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid treatment that stimulates natural collagen production. Its effect develops gradually, which makes the treatment journey different from an immediate-result hyaluronic acid filler.
When will I see a result?
Sculptra is designed for progressive change. Early fullness from the treatment fluid typically settles, and the intended improvement develops gradually as collagen production is stimulated. Timing and response vary.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal number. Your provider will recommend a personalized series based on your anatomy, degree of correction, response and goals.
What should I expect after treatment?
Possible injection-site effects include swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding or itching. Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions and explain when to contact the practice.
Who should not receive Sculptra?
Sculptra should not be used by people allergic to its ingredients or with a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring. Safety has not been established during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in people under 18. A medical assessment is required.
